Our History

Pediapharma, Inc. began its operations in 1991, with three products to market to its clients. The pioneer products were Salinase Drops, Cholyte-50 and Infaflor Drops. Initially, the growing pains of starting a company were experienced, but eventually it disappeared as the year passed. Through the expertise of Dr. Arturo C. Ludan, its own president and innovator new and one-of-a kind products were introduced in the market. These were Z-vita syrup, a vitamin-mineral supplement which was launched in 1994, Salinase Spray, a product extension of Salinase Drops (Sodium Chloride), introduced in 1995, and Zimuvite Drops, also a vitamin-mineral supplement which enhances the immune system to fight off diseases, introduced in 1997.

Pediapharma, Inc. started the trend in the pharmaceutical industry on giving importance on the benefits of zinc. The company is the pioneer in zinc preparations which was further emphasized in the annual Philippine Pediatric Society Convention. Through the years up to present times the company has made a major facelift in terms of operation and marketing strategies but one thing remains and that is to provide the public with the best quality and innovative products that are beneficial to the health of children.

Heading to the 21st Century, Pediapharma, Inc. is optimistic on the future that more products including nutraceuticals are up for marketing and other production on the research pipeline to be launched. Hence, the present slogan of the company "A First to Innovate Pharmaceutical Company".
